DISTANCES:
Shuttle: Maple Leaf Outfitters from Connellsville to Meyersdale
Bike: Meyersdale to Confluence - 38.1 miles
Hike: Joshua Whetzel Trail - 1.2 miles
Overnight: Hanna House B&B
Bike: Confluence to Ohiopyle - 13.1 miles
Hike: Baughman Rock Overlook Loop - 5.65 miles
Bike: Ohiopyle to Sheepskin Trail to Connellsville - 21.7 miles
Overnight: Comfort Inn Ebensburg
Day 3:
Bike: Ghost Town Trail Loop - 34.5 miles
Hike: Nathan's Divide Watershed - 3.1 miles
THE BIKE:
A four minute drive from where I had spent the night at Comfort Inn Ebensburg and I was on the trail at 6:00 AM.

| About 2 miles in, the trail splits into a loop. Regardless of which way you go, it's going to be downhill first then uphill on the other side. It's a workout for sure! |

| Just one very short newly paved road section where there was no traffic. |

| In Rexis you cross the road beyond the parking lot ... |

| ... then a hard left to start the uphill grade on the other side heading back to Ebensburg. |

| I hadn't realized until the following day looking back over the previous 24 hours that I had slid in just before the wildfire smoke became worse. I had probably finished this ride where the yellow bars began to turn orange. |
