Some window shopping while waiting for Cowan's Restaurant to open for breakfast.
After breakfast leaving our overnight accommodations and taking our luggage to the shuttle.
Taking the shuttle back to the Dutzow Trailhead where we retrieved our bikes from the bike shop.
Butterfly Wall
Sunflower Towers
Snack break at Weldon Spring Trailhead.
Under I-70 and heading into St. Charles.
Coming up at the rear of Country Inn and Suites for our last overnight ...
... and my car where I left it way over on the right.
A short walk over to the Lewis & Clark Museum before heading to Magpie's for dinner.

Sadly this concludes an absolutely fabulous and memorable trip with great people, lots of fun and laughs, incredible scenery and serenity, too much eating (yikes!) and just an all around great time, made possible by our awesome group leader, Debbie, and her amazing shuttle and bike support crew.  I had lived in Missouri for about 30 years until 1993 and learned and saw things I never knew existed in my former home state.

Shuttling back to the McKittrick Trailhead while others cycled there.
The day before we had left the trail just before the McKittrick Trailhead at the tunnel to ride into Hermann so a couple of us had to capture the section that we had missed first.
Now we are good and can head back going the right way.
Stopping for some pictures.  Shelley from New York.
And me.
John sped by in a blur.  Not really, the camera didn't focus.
From the bridge Lost Creek flowing into the Missouri River.
Snack break at the Treloar Trailhead.
Treloar Mercantile and Farmer's Bank.  The mercantile has ice cream bars!
There goes one of our shuttle vans.
Stopping at the Peers Store...
... where I purchased my Katy Trail t-shirt.
Coming up on the Dutzow Trailhead ...
... where our bikes were stored at the Kickstand shop for the night.
Then next door to the Dutzow Landing Swallow's Nest for lunch.
Shuttle bus to Washington, Missouri where most stayed at the Old Dutch Hotel...
... and a few of us at the overflow townhouse a couple of blocks away.

A free afternoon to explore Washington, MO on our own.
The Meerschaum Corn Cob Pipe Museum
A walk along the riverfront.
I only had time for 1 mile out so had to turn back.
The prettiest trash can I have ever seen.
On to Oak & Front ...
... for Happy Hour and dinner.
