| I believe you are supposed to park at the pull out parking on the other side of the bridge on Lithia Valley Road and walk back but I saw cars parked where I am in Google Earth and there is plenty of room for 2-3 cars without blocking the gate so I took a chance and parked there since nobody else was around. |

THE HIKE:
This short hike was right on the way home. The first part was not at all wheelchair friendly so I thought I would see if Shawnee could do it without her wheelchair and she did!

| We started off to the left of the kiosk with returning via the road grade on the right. |

| This trail was a high, narrow ledge high above South Branch Tunkhannock Creek and it was simply gorgeous. |

| ... which is a nice picnic shelter. |
 |
| Continuing around the picnic shelter are benches at the creek. |
 |
| Shawnee was even able to scale some rock slabs at creek level, |
 |
| We continued on around the mowed field following the creek downstream. |
 |
| Then we looped back around to the picnic pavilion side of the field. |
 |
| No wheelchair! That is fine for a short hike but pretty amazing that she just hiked over 8 miles right before this hike. |
