HIKE DISTANCE:
6 miles total out and back (3 miles each way)

THE HIKE:

Grated bridge from parking lot to towpath.

Towpath between the canal and the Raritan River

Spillway

A little bit of fall foliage hanging on.

Turn around point at 3 miles.

Sunning on a chilly day.

Almost ran right into this guy standing on the side of the trail.

His wingspan was as wide as the towpath.

Back under I-287.
