| The trail starts to the right of the parking lot. |

| There are Allamuchy Pond Trail markers but only the eastern side of that loop exists. |

| The Allamuchy Pond Trail leaves to the left heading towards Allamuchy Pond; we continued straight. |

Such a beautiful place. Too bad the greedy local politicians, in most towns, keep pushing to build on all the available land around there and other areas. It seems to be all about growing the tax base and as the song goes "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
