I scan and print the section of map I need to keep in my pocket and carry the entire map in my backpack in case I need it. Can't tell you how many times I have had to give my copy away to hikers without a map who are hopelessly lost. Please, get a map! It will show you what trails are available and you can plan out a route to capture the things you want to see. And it will save search and rescue volunteers from disrupting their day to come looking for you :)

DanielaGone Hikin'https://www.blogger.com/profile/10297585067127631509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113668519601172330.post-48037198274686061642014-10-08T15:43:28.019-04:002014-10-08T15:43:28.019-04:00Alright sounds good. Clearly, you love exploring so perhaps, this might interest you http://putnamjones.net/
I knew of the chambers growing up around here, but this fellow has captured them nicely.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113668519601172330.post-65352081696830751052012-03-20T18:17:45.560-04:002012-03-20T18:17:45.560-04:00Thanks for the info! I suggest you try the trails in Camp Hero on the south shore out toward the Lighthouse. Spectacular views and alot of history (old radar installation, 16 inch gun emplacments, underground bunkers etc.). You can traverse the bluffs to the Lighthouse with the ocean on your shoulder.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
